A brilliant young woman who was committed to public service from a young age, Padmé Amidala served as Queen of Naboo early in her career. She would go on to join the Galactic Senate, taking another step toward a larger destiny that would send ripples through the fabric of the Republic.

Caught up in the conflict to resolve the Separatist conflict, she is accompanied by the highly trained handmaidens of the Royal House of Naboo. These bodyguards included such courageous women as Sabé, who could impersonate the queen to misdirect would-be assassins.
